Requirements on surfaces and their functions are constantly increasing. At the same time, the variety of processes and methods is also growing. More and more often, development work is passed on to us as a service provider.

The Research and Development department deals with tasks associated with the further development of existing surfaces in collaboration with our material manufacturers and our customers. We offer our customers the possibility to work together to find solutions for new tasks and to implement these solutions in series production.

Our R&D team employs state-of-the-art production, measurement, and analysis methods in their work.

• Production-ready test coating of components on our trial coating system
• Preparation and analysis of grinds
• Testing of friction values
• Three-dimensional measurement of components
• Determination of the resistance to salt spray acc. to DIN EN ISO 9227 or through ACT-1 and ACT-2 tests
• Extensive and detailed analysis and documentation

With the help of Raman spectroscopy, we characterize the material properties of surface structures.
