Electroplating

Electroplating of zinc and/or zinc alloys such as zinc-iron or zinc-nickel are applied for cathodic corrosion protection for differrent corrosion protection demands. In the galvanizing process anodes e.g. zinc, iron or nickel are connected with cathodically charge goods. A certain current flows for a certain time through an aqueous electrolyte to form the desired film thicksness on the parts.
